Change can sometimes be a bit scary, moving from the known to the unknown. How do you take charge in a situation of change and make change positive rather than a threat?
Fitness
Total FITness is made up of 5 key elements:
Physical, medical, mental, social and nutritional fitness.
We will look further into physical fitness and its different components.
Life Balance
This session will cover where you are today. What parts of your life are you happy with and where would you like to see changes or improvements? You start looking at different areas of your life on your own and then there will be a short discussion in pairs.
Well-being and Nutrition
'Feeling good about yourself and living a fulfilled and rewarding life' regardless of your shape, size, age or ability’.
How do you live your life; day to day/ week to week/ month to month. Are you on a down hill sloop? We will look at how movement and the right food can assist you working towards a fitter life.
Setting objectives
What changes would you like to make in your life? 'Where would you like to be in six months or in two years time? How would you get there and are there any obstacles that you have to overcome? The session will help you get started in identifying your objectives and the way to reach them.
Light work out sessions throughout the day
With the knowledge of the 5 parts of physical fitness we will sample parts of all components. However, the emphasis today is on flexibility and balance through a mixture of stretching exercises and relaxation.
(please bring comfortable lose fitting cloths eg t-shirt and leggings)
