Almost immediately the benefit of a well-structured exercise regime became obvious. Now 2 years later I enjoy a lifestyle more active than I had dreamed of previously. I mountain bike with friends regularly, ski annually and spend every weekend playing sport with my son. At work I feel brighter and more positive whilst at home I sleep better and deal with stress in a well-managed frame of mind.

Dear Potential Fit Client

I have been a client of "FIT" since May 2006, an ordinary 42 year old woman, who over the years, had fallen into bad habits, such as lack of exercise, over indulging (food and drink), and as a consequence found myself piling on the pounds, over a period of years. Never really noticing much, until a photo opened my eyes to what I actually looked like! My doctor, over this time had been noting that my blood pressure was on the rise and expressed concern that the reason for this was my weight. Since I am only 5ft and a bit !, and weighing in at 12st 13lbs, she classified me as obese.
I was mortified! For all the reasons above I decided that it was now or never and vowed to take some action.

I searched the internet for local gyms and found many places, which all offered the same, great facilities, a monthly membership fee, etc, but I knew that deep down, I would part with my money on regular Direct debit, and yes!, I would not go.! Ring any bells. It was purely by luck that I stumbled onto the website for "FIT". My initial thoughts were all good, "FIT" seemed to tick all the boxes that I held important. Local, personal, very well equipped, and professional, but most of all flexible!, so I made an appointment to have an chat to one of the trainers, who, happened to be Lotta Sutton, the owner of "FIT".

Although the discussion was informal, it was in depth, and covered all aspects of what my goals and ambitions were for undertaking an exercise regime, and Lotta explained to me, how she could help me achieve those targets.

The rest is history, I chose to train with Lotta on a one to one basis and have never looked back. In just over the year, I have lost 2 stone in weight!, my blood pressure, is within its normal levels, and I am very much fitter now, than I have ever been. I have also noticed that those everyday niggling complaints such as lethargy, stress related headaches and tensions have abaited.

It has been hard work, but then you do not get the rewards without some effort!, My training sessions are taylor made specifically to my needs aims and goals. However, each session is never the same! Lotta always puts me through my paces !, and provides me with her professional expertise, the support, and above all, the motivation to succeed. Whilst making it fun !

On 1st July 2007, four of "FITs" clients, including myself took part in the Cancer Research Race for Life 5KM race. This time last year, I would have struggled to have walked that course around Epsom, let alone run it!

"Fit" have a lot to answer for, and it's all good !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"John Doyle is an excellent personal trainer and has helped me to achieve goals that I wouldn't have deemed possible. This has included running the London Marathon this year. I knocked 20 minutes off my previous year's time despite the extremely hot weather. I couldn't have done this without John! John has encouraged me to enter my first duathlon and has provided me with a detailed personal training plan to help me to achieve this.

John's training sessions are full of variety and include running and cycling out doors as well as sessions in the gym that include cardiovascular exercise, circuit training and weights. These are always different and this has really helped me to stay motivated.

John is really flexible and is always able to fit my training sessions into times that suit me each week. He also gives me good dietary and nutritional advice."
